About Me

The majority of my family members have entered into service-related professions, such as physicians, psychologists, lawyers, and social workers, where they relentlessly help others; therefore, I grew up wanting to become a therapist. I have always had a passion for helping others, especially in their time of need. Through my own struggles and experiences, I have developed a greater sense of understanding for my clients and what they are living through, which has allowed me to connect on a deeper level.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently devoting my time to helping clients in my private practice through psychotherapy and Culinary Arts Therapy in the Los Angeles area. I enjoy serving a diverse range of clients including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship stress, work stress and ADHD. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I work with children/adolescents and adults.

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of California at Berkeley, where I spent time working with and mentoring young children. I received my master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California. I spent time training at prestigious institutions such as UCLA and Kaiser, doing both research and psychotherapy. I have also completed doctoral level training, ranging from neuropsychology assessment experience to psychotherapy to working in school settings. My wide range of experiences has served me well and allowed me to build the knowledge base and foundation to help my clients in the best way possible.

I believe in an approach that is utilizes evidence and is delivered with empathy, warmth and understanding. I create an open and inviting atmosphere, free of judgment and bias. I utilize an integrative approach, pulling from different modalities, such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness, solution-focused, psychodynamic, and humanistic based therapies. I tailor treatment to fit the specific needs of each client to target their overall health and wellbeing. I am confident that you will feel heard and understood by me.
